1. Who these guidelines apply to
These rules apply to viewers, creators, partners, comments, profiles, messages, metadata, thumbnails, trailers, live events and uploaded or linked content. Context matters: documentary, educational, news, artistic and public-interest material may address difficult subjects, but should not use that context as a cover for harm.
2. What is not allowed
Violence and dangerous conduct
Do not promote credible threats, violent criminal activity, terrorism, dangerous challenges, self-harm encouragement or instructions intended to cause serious injury.
Hate and harassment
Do not attack, degrade, threaten or exclude people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability or another protected characteristic. Targeted bullying and doxxing are prohibited.
Sexual exploitation and child safety
Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, grooming and any sexual content involving minors are prohibited and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Fraud and manipulation
Do not impersonate others, run scams, publish deliberately deceptive claims, manipulate engagement or use the platform to obtain money or sensitive information dishonestly.
Illegal goods and activity
Do not use OWENTANDO to arrange unlawful transactions or provide practical instructions intended to facilitate serious criminal activity.
Copyright and privacy
Only submit material you are authorised to use. Respect privacy, obtain releases where required and do not expose private personal information without a lawful basis.
3. Sensitive and mature content
Mature themes may be permitted when they have legitimate dramatic, documentary, news, educational, cultural or artistic context. Creators must provide accurate age ratings, warnings and descriptions. We may restrict visibility, require edits or decline material that is excessively graphic, exploitative or unsuitable for the platform.
4. Authentic participation
Use your real authority when representing a creator or organisation. Do not buy or automate views, reactions, accounts or votes. Clearly disclose sponsored or paid relationships where required. Titles, thumbnails and descriptions must not deliberately misrepresent the content.
5. Enforcement
Depending on context, severity and history, OWENTANDO may issue a warning, ask for more information, apply an age restriction, reduce visibility, reject or remove content, pause earnings, or suspend an account. Immediate restriction may be used where there is a credible safety, legal, security or child-protection risk. Serious matters may be referred to relevant authorities.
6. Reporting and review
Report a concern with the page URL, content title, description of the issue and any useful evidence. Do not submit knowingly false or abusive reports. A creator may contact support to request a review of a moderation decision. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright Policy.
