Copyright Policy

1. Ownership of works

Creators retain ownership of their original content unless a separate written agreement expressly transfers ownership. OWENTANDO owns or licenses its branding, website design, original productions and promotional assets. Other films, music, images, performances and programmes belong to their respective rights holders.

2. Viewing is not a reproduction licence

Platform access allows lawful viewing through the provided player. It does not permit downloading, copying, recording, reposting, rebroadcasting, selling, editing or commercially exploiting a work unless the rights holder or applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Creator responsibility

A creator must have appropriate rights and releases for every element of submitted content, including scripts, music, archive footage, photographs, graphics, performances, locations and identifiable people. Uploading a link or file is a confirmation that distribution and promotion through OWENTANDO are authorised. See the Creator Terms.

4. Reporting alleged infringement

If you believe material on the platform infringes your copyright, email a clear notice to owentandotv@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright Complaint”. Include:

• Your full name, organisation and contact details.
• A description of the protected work and evidence of your rights or authority to act.
• The exact OWENTANDO page URL and enough information to identify the disputed material.
• A good-faith statement explaining why the use is not authorised by the rights holder or law.
• A statement that the information supplied is accurate, plus your physical or electronic signature.

5. Review and temporary restriction

We may request more information, notify the affected creator, temporarily restrict access, preserve relevant records and remove material when reasonably supported by the evidence or required by law. Submitting a report does not guarantee removal. False, abusive or misleading reports may be rejected.

6. Creator response

A creator who disputes a complaint should provide proof of ownership, licences, releases or another lawful basis for use. OWENTANDO may keep the content unavailable while a genuine dispute remains unresolved and may require the parties to resolve the matter directly or through an appropriate legal process.

7. Repeat or serious infringement

Accounts connected to repeated, deliberate or serious infringement may have uploads restricted or access terminated. OWENTANDO may also withhold disputed earnings where permitted by the creator agreement and applicable law until ownership is resolved.
